Membership of the OCBC is open to anyone in the Orere Point community and environs.

The annual membership fee gives that member a voting right at the annual general meeting, and member privileges/prizes at the three fishing competitions held annually.

Members are able to obtain a key providing access to the Orere boat ramp on an annual basis. Key fobs remain the property of OCBC, they cannot be lent to others and fobs must be returned or renewed at the end of the financial year.
